My eyes are healing nicely, and I barely feel that scratchy feeling. I was so happy when I learned that I didn’t have to go to a surgical facility, which only adds stress and time. I’ve been to at least 3 different ophthalmologist’s offices over the past few years. When I say that Clear Vision has state of the art equipment, I know what I am talking about. From my very first appointment, I knew I was in great hands. Dr. Vrabec is very skilled in his field. From his high tech equipment to his surgical capabilities. Added bonus, this doesn’t mean that you will pay less by going somewhere else. Also, he listens to you, takes his time explaining what you need to know, and has a wonderful bedside manner. His entire staff also carry the same disposition. I loved the fact that as he performed my surgery, he explained to me step by step what he was doing. I was somewhat sedated and my eyes numbed very well. I didn’t feel any pain whatsoever. I was relaxed and knew that I was in good hands. With any type of eye surgery, you will feel a little pressure or cool liquids. For that matter, he kept me calm by telling me just prior to feeling what is to be expected. His voice was calm and steady, just as his hands. Nothing caught me off guard. I hold Dr. Vrabec and his staff in high regard ❣️

The consultation is free and they really take their time running all sorts of tests and explaining the pros and cons of the different surgeries to you and why people might choose one or the other. they spent over an hour running tests and measurements on my eyes before they told me what was best. The actual surgery was quick and painless and not stressful in the slightest. They have you relax in heated massage chairs before and after. They give you all the eye drops you need, both medicated and regular. They provide you with the sunglasses and sleep glasses and it's all included in the cost of the surgery, no going to the pharmacy after with a list of things to buy. The recovery is not painless and don't let anyone tell you otherwise, they are honest here and give you vallium and tell you to sleep through the discomfort afterwards. I couldn't sleep more than a couple hours but the eye drops and keeping everything dark helped. After about 6 hours my eyes were fine, just sensitive. I had my next day follow up this morning and my eyes are already doing pretty great and they said they will continue to improve over the next week. I have no issues with my closeup vision as the surgery only affects distance, my distance vision is already almost 20/20 and I was able to drive to work and work at my computer just fine. I have my sunglasses with me in case my eyes start to get tired.

I have been told for many years I was not a candidate for contacts, laser, lasik or other corrective measures. This all changed recently. I am only three days out from surgery on both eyes and I am discos new world ! I can read, see things at a distance and close up, with no clouding. And I have yet to have them actually fine tuned ! I would highly recommend the Clear Vision Center and Dr Vrabec to anyone with eye issues. I even spoke with other eye centers and doctors, and they recommended him!
