During my Lasik procedure Dr. Vrabec continued to explain the steps of the procedure and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. After my surgery was complete Dr. Vrabec kept a close eye on my healing process to ensure I was comfortable, and my eyes were healing as they should. There are many life changing moments when you reach the age of 60. Families, grandchildren, long careers, health issues and impending retirement. When you've been basically blind, tied to... read more glasses which have over time become less and less effective, the thought of being able to see with any level of clarity becomes more of a pipe dream. Eyes become worse. Prescription glasses become less and less effective and twice as costly. Personally, I resigned myself to being essentially blind within the next several years of my life. A torn retina in Sept of 22 and the rapid aaceleration of cataracts brought on by my retinal detachment surgery made my already horrible vision significantly worse. When i picked up the phone and called Clear Vision it was basically my last ditch effort to save my vision. What i experienced after that call has been nothing short of a miracle. Not only was the staff literally amazing, which I can not stress enough, but I'm typing this, glasses free 2 weeks after surgery with 20/25 vision that is only improving every day! I was blind in the eye I'm now 20/25 in!!!! I'm so incredibly grateful and super excited that the last 20 or so years of my life will be glasses free, with the best vision I have had, even with glasses, in my entire life. I was skeptical for years and very anxious, but from the initial evaluation visit and just talking with Dr. Vrabec, it made me feel much more at ease and I knew I was making the right decision. The surgical center is beautiful, and the “spa” waiting area is a very calming environment with reclining massage chairs to relax in prior to the surgery and right after as well. The entire staff was amazing, from the moment I was greeted at the reception desk, to the surgical team throughout the surgery process, and post-op. They all made me feel welcome and helped to ease the anxiety. Everyone really seems to enjoy what they do and very eager to help. It has truly been life changing to not have to worry about the hassles that comes with wearing glasses. Not to mention I now have better than 20/20 vision!
