Eyes become worse. Prescription glasses become less and less effective and twice as costly. Personally, I resigned myself to being essentially blind within the next several years of my life. A torn retina in Sept of 22 and the rapid aaceleration of cataracts brought on by my retinal detachment surgery made my already horrible vision significantly worse.
