I had to sit and think about it before I committed to having the cataract surgery, I was told that the testing was good for six months however, when I went to make the appointment four months later, they told me I had to redo the testing due to a new government rule. I asked if I would be grandfathered in and they said no, I would have to complete the testing again before having the surgery scheduled. I immediately got off the phone with them and did a Google search and five minutes later was on the phone with Clear Vision. I am so happy I chose to go to this office with Dr Vtabec and his staff. From the first moment I felt like a person and not just a number the whole staff is extremely caring, attentive and knowledgeable and I never felt rushed to make any decisions When I had told him of my previous experience and about the new government law requiring less than four months lapsing between testing and surgery, they had never heard of that. And the icing on the cake this whole procedure was going to be $1300 less than where I was originally scheduled to go. Eyes are so important and I am extremely thankful that i found Clear Vision amd would recommend them to anyone seeking help with eye surgery.

There are many life changing moments when you reach the age of 60. Families, grandchildren, long careers, health issues and impending retirement. Eyes become worse. Prescription glasses become less and less effective and twice as costly. Personally, I resigned myself to being essentially blind within the next several years of my life. A torn retina in Sept of 22 and the rapid aaceleration of cataracts brought on by my retinal detachment surgery made my already horrible vision significantly worse. When i picked up the phone and called Clear Vision it was basically my last ditch effort to save my vision. What i experienced after that call has been nothing short of a miracle. Not only was the staff literally amazing, which I can not stress enough, but I'm typing this, glasses free 2 weeks after surgery with 20/25 vision that is only improving every day! I was blind in the eye I'm now 20/25 in!!!! I'm so incredibly grateful and super excited that the last 20 or so years of my life will be glasses free, with the best vision I have had, even with glasses, in my entire life. (Got my first set when I was 5 years old.). Super emotional for me. Everyone was amazing! They corrected my cataracts and put in these new lenses in my eyes that have totally corrected my vision! I was skeptical for years and very anxious, but from the initial evaluation visit and just talking with Dr. Vrabec, it made me feel much more at ease and I knew I was making the right decision. The surgical center is beautiful, and the “spa” waiting area is a very calming environment with reclining massage chairs to relax in prior to the surgery and right after as well. The entire staff was amazing, from the moment I was greeted at the reception desk, to the surgical team throughout the surgery process, and post-op. They all made me feel welcome and helped to ease the anxiety. Everyone really seems to enjoy what they do and very eager to help. It has truly been life changing to not have to worry about the hassles that comes with wearing glasses. Not to mention I now have better than 20/20 vision!
