This place takes really good care of their patients and does the best they can to quell any anxiety you may have. The consultation is free and they really take their time running all sorts of tests and explaining the pros and cons of the different surgeries to you and why people might choose one or the other. they spent over an hour running tests and measurements on my eyes before they told me what was best. The actual surgery was quick and painless and not stressful in the slightest. They have you relax in heated massage chairs before and after. They give you all the eye drops you need, both medicated and regular. They provide you with the sunglasses and sleep glasses and it's all included in the cost of the surgery, no going to the pharmacy after with a list of things to buy. The recovery is not painless and don't let anyone tell you otherwise, they are honest here and give you vallium and tell you to sleep through the discomfort afterwards. I couldn't sleep more than a couple hours but the eye drops and keeping everything dark helped. After about 6 hours my eyes were fine, just sensitive. I had my next day follow up this morning and my eyes are already doing pretty great and they said they will continue to improve over the next week. I have no issues with my closeup vision as the surgery only affects distance, my distance vision is already almost 20/20 and I was able to drive to work and work at my computer just fine. I have my sunglasses with me in case my eyes start to get tired.

I have two very different eyes... read more with a very dominate right eye and have been wearing contact lenses for at least for at least 25 years. I asked lots of questions and did some reading on my own and finally decided to go with the extended depth of focus IOLs. I was looking forward to no longer needing contact lenses after the surgery. It cost more but my vision now in both eyes is excellent. I think possibly even better than before. When driving distance focus is sharp and also the instrument cluster and all the dashboard controls are clear and sharp without glasses. I only use readers now for close up work like reading. The surgery was painless and did not take long. I can recommend Dr Vrabec and staff at Clear Vision without reservation.
