I felt no pain at all during or afterwards. I was so amazed at how much better I could see. I now have 20/20 vision for my nearsightedness and all I have to get is progressive lenses so I can read and that's it. It is really hard to find a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients the way he does. He explained everything in a way that actually made sense and never rushed through anything. You can just tell he loves what he does and wants the best for every person who walks through that door. After the procedure, I went home and took a four hour nap. When I woke up and opened my eyes, I could see. Not just kind of see, but really see. I actually cried. It is such an emotional feeling to open your eyes and not reach for your glasses out of habit. I do not have to worry about whether I remembered them or where I set them down. I do not have to worry about struggling to see while driving at night. It feels like a whole new world. It is also a huge relief to not have to worry about my glasses anymore. As a parent and a college student, I am constantly on the go. I already have so much to think about, and just knowing I do not have to stress about my vision every day or in urgent situations is unbelievable. It is one less thing weighing on me, and that freedom is something I cannot put into words. The office itself is super modern and high tech! If you are thinking about getting LASIK, I cannot recommend Clear Vision Center enough. I would tell anyone to go here without hesitation.

I was skeptical for years and very anxious, but from the initial evaluation visit and just talking with Dr. Vrabec, it made me feel much more at ease and I knew I was making the right decision. The surgical center is beautiful, and the “spa” waiting area is a very calming environment with reclining massage chairs to relax in prior to the surgery and right after as well. The entire staff was amazing, from the moment I was greeted at the reception desk, to the surgical team throughout the surgery process, and post-op. They all made me feel welcome and helped to ease the anxiety. Everyone really seems to enjoy what they do and very eager to help. It has truly been life changing to not have to worry about the hassles that comes with wearing glasses. Not to mention I now have better than 20/20 vision!
