I finally decided to look into it and after much searching and Googling, I found Dr. Joshua Vrabec at Clear Vision Center in Rochester, Mi. who was very highly rated. During my first consultation at his spotless office and surgery center and interacting with his very accommodating and friendly staff before I even met with Dr. Vrabec, I started to think maybe I could go through with it. When meeting with the doctor, I found him to be very professional and informative. Although i initially went in to see about getting Lasik done, he told me about Custom Lens Replacement with PanOptix. With this procedure, I would have corrected vision for both reading and distance, something that Lasik does not do. You basically have to choose one or the other. Based on his recommendation, I choose to go with custom lens replacement. On surgery day I was, of course, very nervous. From the time I walked in the door, the staff, with their calmness and professionalism, did a lot to put me at ease. Then, when actually going into the surgery room, Dr. Vrabec, with his quiet confidence.and great communication skills, I realized I had made a good decision choosing him. There was no pain involved and he told me everything he was doing as he did it. Here I am, a day after my second eye was done, and I am seeing 20/20 with both eyes and can read and drive without glasses. I highly recommend Dr. Vrabec and Clear Vision Center.

Facility is easy to find with ample parking. Appointment started on time. Employees are helpful and friendly. Doctor took her time and explained things.

I felt extremely confident moving forward with the prescription they got and felt very safe with all the measurements they took during the exam. The ICL surgery itself was a good experience. I felt very calm. They had a tranquil atmosphere while the meds kicked in, and Dr. Vrabec took the time to tell me each step of the surgery as it was happening which made me comfortable. I am used to high level of professional health care and this was definitely at that level. Overall, this practice is top notch, efficient, and friendly. I now have 20/15 vision and couldn’t be happier. I would recommend Clear Vision Center to anyone.

She was approachable, patient, and had a genuinely welcoming attitude that made the whole visit feel comfortable. My eyes are healing nicely, and I barely feel that scratchy feeling. I was so happy when I learned that I didn’t have to go to a surgical facility, which only adds stress and time. I’ve been to at least 3 different ophthalmologist’s offices over the past few years. When I say that Clear Vision has state of the art equipment, I know what I am talking about. From my very first appointment, I knew I was in great hands. Dr. Vrabec is very skilled in his field. From his high tech equipment to his surgical capabilities. Added bonus, this doesn’t mean that you will pay less by going somewhere else. Also, he listens to you, takes his time explaining what you need to know, and has a wonderful bedside manner. His entire staff also carry the same disposition. I loved the fact that as he performed my surgery, he explained to me step by step what he was doing. I was somewhat sedated and my eyes numbed very well. I didn’t feel any pain whatsoever. I was relaxed and knew that I was in good hands. With any type of eye surgery, you will feel a little pressure or cool liquids. For that matter, he kept me calm by telling me just prior to feeling what is to be expected. Dr. Vrabec answers all of his patients concerns, very respectfully, he obviously comes from a good stock. I noticed something different about the support staff, they volunteer to take care of items assigned to their colleagues but there in lies an opportunity for improvement _ sometimes wires get crossed with negatively impacting customer care.

It is really hard to find a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients the way he does. He explained everything in a way that actually made sense and never rushed through anything. You can just tell he loves what he does and wants the best for every person who walks through that door. After the procedure, I went home and took a four hour nap. When I woke up and opened my eyes, I could see. Not just kind of see, but really see. I actually cried. It is such an emotional feeling to open your eyes and not reach for your glasses out of habit. I do not have to worry about whether I remembered them or where I set them down. I do not have to worry about struggling to see while driving at night. It feels like a whole new world. It is also a huge relief to not have to worry about my glasses anymore. As a parent and a college student, I am constantly on the go. I already have so much to think about, and just knowing I do not have to stress about my vision every day or in urgent situations is unbelievable. It is one less thing weighing on me, and that freedom is something I cannot put into words. The office itself is super modern and high tech! If you are thinking about getting LASIK, I cannot recommend Clear Vision Center enough. I would tell anyone to go here without hesitation.
