I must admit I was very nervous about the surgery and although I was assured it would be pain free and over quickly, I was still sure it would be otherwise. I was proven wrong. It really was as described, pain free & over sooner than expected. The way this medical practice has been developed to assure a personalized method of patient care and support sets a gold standard for how health services should be administered. I offer my sincere appreciation of Dr. Vrabec. I thank him for choosing Michigan and Rochester to set up his practice. Everyone was... read more kind, patient, and walked me through the entire process so I never felt nervous or unsure. Dr. Vrabec is seriously one of a kind. It is really hard to find a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients the way he does. He explained everything in a way that actually made sense and never rushed through anything. You can just tell he loves what he does and wants the best for every person who walks through that door. After the procedure, I went home and took a four hour nap. When I woke up and opened my eyes, I could see. Not just kind of see, but really see. I actually cried. It is such an emotional feeling to open your eyes and not reach for your glasses out of habit. I do not have to worry about whether I remembered them or where I set them down. I do not have to worry about struggling to see while driving at night. It feels like a whole new world. It is also a huge relief to not have to worry about my glasses anymore. As a parent and a college student, I am constantly on the go. I already have so much to think about, and just knowing I do not have to stress about my vision every day or in urgent situations is unbelievable. It is one less thing weighing on me, and that freedom is something I cannot put into words. The office itself is super modern and high tech! If you are thinking about getting LASIK, I cannot recommend Clear Vision Center enough. I would tell anyone to go here without hesitation.

This place takes really good care of their patients and does the best they can to quell any anxiety you may have. I went in for laser eye surgery, whichever... read more they determined was best, and we went with Lasik. The consultation is free and they really take their time running all sorts of tests and explaining the pros and cons of the different surgeries to you and why people might choose one or the other. they spent over an hour running tests and measurements on my eyes before they told me what was best. The actual surgery was quick and painless and not stressful in the slightest. They have you relax in heated massage chairs before and after. They give you all the eye drops you need, both medicated and regular. They provide you with the sunglasses and sleep glasses and it's all included in the cost of the surgery, no going to the pharmacy after with a list of things to buy. The recovery is not painless and don't let anyone tell you otherwise, they are honest here and give you vallium and tell you to sleep through the discomfort afterwards. I couldn't sleep more than a couple hours but the eye drops and keeping everything dark helped. After about 6 hours my eyes were fine, just sensitive. I had my next day follow up this morning and my eyes are already doing pretty great and they said they will continue to improve over the next week. I have no issues with my closeup vision as the surgery only affects distance, my distance vision is already almost 20/20 and I was able to drive to work and work at my computer just fine. I have my sunglasses with me in case my eyes start to get tired.
