A peaceful forest road lined with vibrant orange autumn leaves and tall trees.

Everyone loves fall in Michigan. The leaves change, the air gets cooler and more sweater-weather, and our favorite football teams start airing more and more.

And after a summer of loose schedules, fall brings structure back, like school drop-offs, weekly meetings, early morning workouts, and family dinners on Sundays. This structure gets us back into a routine and gives us the room to take care of the things that were set aside in June. For many of our patients, clear vision ends up being at the top of that list.

Why Fall Works for Vision Correction

We may have mentioned why late summer is a great time to start planning for vision correction, but now is the time to turn those plans into action. So, why now?

  • Your routine is predictable. For most procedures, recovery takes days, and a steady fall schedule makes it easy to plan around.
  • The holidays haven’t started yet. Heal now, and December belongs to you and not follow-up appointments.
  • Your benefits have a deadline. If you have FSA or HSA funds, they can go toward vision correction before the year closes out.

Experience December Differently

Imagine a ski run at Boyne without goggles fogging over your glasses. Catching up on holiday cards by the fire without endlessly searching for your readers. Waking up on a Florida beach and seeing the sparkling water — without having to reach for your glasses on the nightstand. Hosting a full table and seeing every face clearly from the kitchen.

Picture your sight providing you with a more vibrant life, showing up in moments you’d otherwise witness through a smudged lens.

Which Procedure is Right for You?

Every eye is as unique as a fingerprint (no, this is not a myth), which is why we don’t lead with a one-size-fits-all procedure, but instead recommend what fits your eyes, and sometimes that means something other than the widely known LASIK. What are your eye correction options, what do they actually do, and who’s the right candidate for each procedure?

What is LASIK?
A laser gently reshapes the cornea beneath a thin protective flap. The procedure takes about 15 to 20 minutes in our private on-site suite.

LASIK is generally best for adults ages 20 to 49 with mild to moderate nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism.

What is PRK?
In 10 to 15 minutes, PRK reshapes the surface of the cornea without creating a flap (unlike LASIK). Recovery is a bit longer than LASIK, but long-term vision outcomes are identical.

PRK is typically best for adults ages 20 to 49 with mild to moderate nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism.

What is Zeiss SMILE Pro?
A minimally invasive, flapless version of LASIK, SMILE is a laser procedure that removes a tiny disc of corneal tissue, taking 5 to 10 minutes per eye. Recovery can be faster than traditional LASIK, and there are no risks of flap complications.

SMILE is best for adults ages 20 to 49 with mild to moderate nearsightedness or astigmatism.

What is EVO ICL?
A small, biocompatible lens is placed inside the eye to work alongside your natural lens and provides UV protection. The cornea is never reshaped, and the lens is removable if needed.

EVO ICL is best for adults under 46 with nearsightedness, with or without astigmatism, in the -3.00 to -20.00 prescription range.

What is Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)?
Removing the need for any future cataract surgery, RLE replaces your natural lens with an advanced artificial lens designed to last a lifetime.

RLE is best for adults over 45 who have become dependent on reading glasses, progressive lenses, or bifocals.

An Experience Built Around You

Vision correction shouldn’t feel impersonal or confusing. At Clear Vision, your consultation is with your actual surgeon, not someone in sales, and you’ll create a customized plan for your eyes. Your procedure happens in our private suite where you’ll relax in a massaging recliner with ambient music, with none of the fluorescent-lit waiting of a hospital. We bring more than 25 years of experience in vision correction to every patient, and our 99% patient satisfaction rate reflects that care.

See the Leaves, Not Your Lenses

This fall, we want you to see the changing colors in all their glory, without glasses or contacts getting in the way. Take a step towards clear vision and give us a visit, where you’ll learn which procedure fits your eyes, or whether vision correction is right for you at all. It’s an honest answer either way, straight from your surgeon.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign, our See the Leaves promotion is here to offer you thousands in savings through October 31, 2026 on LASIK, PRK, SMILE, EVO ICL, and RLE. Consultations must be scheduled by October 31, 2026, and this promotion cannot be combined with any other offers.
